Inspired by White Negroni (London, 2001) We started with the concept of a clear Negroni, added the elements of a Spicy Margarita, and it worked out better than we could have imagined. Gentian-based Salers liquor adds the bitterness we expect from Negronis, while the cucumber and serrano pepper balance each other for a refreshing cocktail.

Roots of the Spritz date back to the 1840’s, when Hungarian soldiers based in Northern Italy couldn’t handle the strength of the Italian wine. By adding a splash (“Spritz” in German) to the wine, they reduced the alcohol content making a refreshing drink to be consumed all day long, as it is now throughout Italy.

Think of this as “adult Italian lemonade”. We started off thinking of the classic Spritz but with a base of our 30-day infused, house-made Limoncello. We finish off by adding a light dash of lemon juice, giving you something that you could pair with seafood or be enjoyed by itself all day long.

Inspired from the Bicicletta drink, created in the Lombardy region in the 1930’s, which traded dry white wine in place of sparkling. We added a house-made strawberry syrup giving a slight sweetness to the typically dry drink.
FFO HUGO SPRITZ

Our twist on the Northern Italy White Spritz. With the addition of Camomilla to the Elderflower base, we had found a way to keep the sweetness at a moderate level. Enter the French Gentian-based liquor Salers for a nice, refreshing balance.

The pairing of Northern Italy Aperitivo with Southern Italy orange juice is a refernce to the unification of the country in the classic Garibaldi cocktail. We decided to take this idea and add a Sicilian vodka which comes from the base of Mt. Etna. Finally, we brighten up the drink by adjusting the orange acid to that of a lemon, creating the most unique orange-based drink you may ever have.

Taking the idea of a Gin and Tonic- we deconstructed and “Italianized” it in the process. Cocchi Americano, from Turin, is a fortified wine that uses quinine as its bittering agent. (Yes, the same ingredient in Tonic) With our base being a single botanical gin from the Island of Minorca, we added some flavor depth with a small amount of Finocchietto– a Mediterranean coastal liquor that gladiators use to drink for courage before heading to battle. We finish with a splash of fresh squeezed lemon juice to round out this refreshing drink.

We took the idea of a Brandy Crusta (1850’s ancestor of the Side Car and Margarita) and replacing the French Brandy with the 1980’s Scotch/Amaretto-based drink (The Godfather) got us on the right foot when creating this refreshing drink. We finished by using an Italian Thistle Artichoke Amaro, giving an earthy balance to the traditional sour base of the cocktail.

Are Italian Tiki drinks actually a thing? We may have invented the category with this drink. At one time Venice was the richest city in the world, controlling all the spice trades coming into Europe. With that in mind we split the base of Rum with Grappa and “spiced“ things a bit with flavors that would have come into Europe through Venice during the 14th century. The result – a whole new drink category for you to enjoy.

A MAN FROM NAPLES

Our twist on the Manhattan spices things up a bit by pairing the bourbon with saffron-infused Strega from Naples. Nocino, a walnut liquor from the Emillia-Romagna region, gives a slight sweetness, and Bogarts cocktail bitters, which was favored by Jerry Thomas in the late 1800’s, finishes off our unique twist on a classic.

The distillery, in South Tyrol at the foothills of the Italian Alps, uses only pure alpine water from the Puni River, locally sourced grains, and a traditional original Scottish Pot Still for all their expressions. Finally, the maturation warehouse uses the unique climate in this area of Alto-Adige to help shape character into each barrel made.

This is the Italians take on a classic European Malt Whiskey. Aged for five years in ex-bourbon casks, on the palate this whiskey is a marriage of summer fruits and sweet vanilla. The finish has a light touch of spicy oak and a hint of cracked pepper.

Sole meaning “sun” in Italian, is referring to the ancient maturation method in sherry production called Solera aging. This whisky after sitting in American Ex-Bourbon barrels does extensive time in Spanish Pedro Ximenez sherry casks before final bottling. The taste is sweet with strong notes of honey and blood orange and finishes with creamy flavors of walnut and spicy oak.

Vina is the darkest of the whiskeys coming out of Italy, getting its hue from sitting for five years in Sicilian casks, that had previously held Marsala wine. Aromas of fruitcake dominate the nose, while notes of plums, orange peel, walnut and sweet sultanas cover your palate.

Alba, the Italian word for ‘Dawn’, is matured for three years in Sicilian Marsala wine casks before being finished in hand selected ex-peated whisky casks. The first impression is warm and engaging with fruity flavors, which slowly give way to notes of pepper, walnuts and herbs.
While prominent, the lingering note of peat does not overpower the whisky flavors but heightens their smokey back bone.

Arte #2 is one of the most unique whisky’s we have come across, using two different malt recipes in one bottle.
Part of this whisky was made using a three-malt recipe and matured first for three years in ex-Bourbon barrels before finishing for five years in Virgin Italian Oak. The second part of this whisky is a single malt made only from Italian barley malt and matured in Ex-Bourbon barrels for four years. The result gives notes of honey and vanilla on the palate with finishing flavors of ginger and toasted tobacco leaves.

CLASSIC 1919 NEGRONI

Created at Café Casoni in Florence in 1919, and named after Count Camillo Negroni, this classic is typically an equal parts drink build. We dialed back the Campari a bit, making our version a slightly less bitter and well-balanced drink.
NEGRONI SBAGLIATO
Rose Prosecco, Elena Di Torino Rosso, Casoni 1814 Aperitivo
Created at Bar Basso in Milan in 1950, when a bartender mistakenly poured Prosecco instead of Gin while making his Negroni. It was given the name Sbagliato (meaning WRONG) and has been a refreshing classic enjoyed across Italy ever since.

Inspired by the Boulevardier (Paris, 1920’s) Our twist on the “Whiskey Negroni” starts with a high-proof rye whiskey to add body and spice notes. Cynar, an artichoke based Amaro, adds flavors of toffee and caramel, which we paired with a coffee tincture. This unique pairing creates a flavor mix you won’t soon forget.
JALISCO BLANC NEGRONI
Cimarron Blanc Tequila, Cocchi Americano, Salers Liquor, Serrano pepper Tincture, Cucumber Bitters
Inspired by White Negroni (London, 2001) We started with the concept of a clear Negroni, added the elements of a Spicy Margarita, and it worked out better than we could have imagined. Gentian-based Salers liquor adds the bitterness we expect from Negronis, while the cucumber and serrano pepper balance each other for a refreshing cocktail.

WHITE PEACH PUREE, PROSECCO

Roots of the Spritz date back to the 1840’s, when Hungarian soldiers based in Northern Italy couldn’t handle the strength of the Italian wine. By adding a splash (“Spritz” in German) to the wine, they reduced the alcohol content making a refreshing drink to be consumed all day long, as it is now throughout Italy.

In early 1900, Italian’s began adding locally made Vermouths, Bitters, and Aperitivos to their Spritz. The first region to do so was the Veneto with their local brand called Select.

We used the notes of Hibiscus and Orange Blossom found in Milano’s Ramazzotti Rosato and paired it with fresh grapefruit juice instead of soda. This created one of the most refreshing Spritz’s you will ever try.
LIMONCELLO SPRITZ
House Made Limoncello, Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice, Prosecco, Soda
Think of this as “adult Italian lemonade”. We started off thinking of the classic Spritz but with a base of our 30-day infused, house-made Limoncello. We finish off by adding a light dash of lemon juice, giving you something that you could pair with seafood or be enjoyed by itself all day long.
STRAWBERRY BICICLETTA
Aperol, Pinot Grigio, Strawberry Oleo-saccharum, Soda
Inspired from the Bicicletta drink, created in the Lombardy region in the 1930’s, which traded dry white wine in place of sparkling. We added a house-made strawberry syrup giving a slight sweetness to the typically dry drink.
FFO HUGO SPRITZ
Fiorente Elderflower, Salers, Poli Camomilla, Prosecco, Soda
Our twist on the Northern Italy White Spritz. With the addition of Camomilla to the Elderflower base, we had found a way to keep the sweetness at a moderate level. Enter the French Gentian-based liquor Salers for a nice, refreshing balance.

The pairing of Northern Italy Aperitivo with Southern Italy orange juice is a refernce to the unification of the country in the classic Garibaldi cocktail. We decided to take this idea and add a Sicilian vodka which comes from the base of Mt. Etna. Finally, we brighten up the drink by adjusting the orange acid to that of a lemon, creating the most unique orange-based drink you may ever have.

What would happen if a Margarita took an Italian vacation? In my mind it would visit the countryside and enjoy its flavors of Rhubarb, Strawberry, Bitter Orange, Hibiscus and Gentian, while sitting under the Tuscan sun with a refreshing drink (like this one).
THE MEDITERRANEAN

Taking the idea of a Gin and Tonic- we deconstructed and “Italianized” it in the process. Cocchi Americano, from Turin, is a fortified wine that uses quinine as its bittering agent. (Yes, the same ingredient in Tonic) With our base being a single botanical gin from the Island of Minorca, we added some flavor depth with a small amount of Finocchietto– a Mediterranean coastal liquor that gladiators use to drink for courage before heading to battle. We finish with a splash of fresh squeezed lemon juice to round out this refreshing drink.
DON VITO

We took the idea of a Brandy Crusta (1850’s ancestor of the Side Car and Margarita) and replacing the French Brandy with the 1980’s Scotch/Amaretto-based drink (The Godfather) got us on the right foot when creating this refreshing drink. We finished by using an Italian Thistle Artichoke Amaro, giving an earthy balance to the traditional sour base of the cocktail.

Are Italian Tiki drinks actually a thing? We may have invented the category with this drink. At one time Venice was the richest city in the world, controlling all the spice trades coming into Europe. With that in mind we split the base of Rum with Grappa and “spiced“ things a bit with flavors that would have come into Europe through Venice during the 14th century. The result – a whole new drink category for you to enjoy.
ROME WITH A VIEW

Is it an Old Fashioned? Is it a Sazerac? Is it something all its own? We used both classics as the inspiration when creating this cocktail.
The oak notes provided from the Ambrato pairs perfectly with the blood orange sweetness present in the Sicilian amaro, providing a twist in this soon to be favorite of whiskey fans.
A MAN FROM NAPLES
Knob Creek Bourbon, Carpano Classico, Strega, Don Ciccio Nocino, Bogart’s Bitters
Our twist on the Manhattan spices things up a bit by pairing the bourbon with saffron-infused Strega from Naples. Nocino, a walnut liquor from the Emillia-Romagna region, gives a slight sweetness, and Bogarts cocktail bitters, which was favored by Jerry Thomas in the late 1800’s, finishes off our unique twist on a classic.
EMILIA – VESPER

This would have been James Bond’s Vesper if he was Italian. We decided to use the classic build from the 1950’s but turned our flavor focus on the notes present in a Margherita pizza. The result is a savory, flavorful balanced Vesper- unlike anything you have ever seen or tasted.

Puni distillery is Italy’s first whisky distillery and the only one that is available in the United States.
(It is only in the US market for a limited time though)
The distillery, in South Tyrol at the foothills of the Italian Alps, uses only pure alpine water from the Puni River, locally sourced grains, and a traditional original Scottish Pot Still for all their expressions. Finally, the maturation warehouse uses the unique climate in this area of Alto-Adige to help shape character into each barrel made.
PUNI GOLD (43%abv) $44- 1.5oz pour
This is the Italians take on a classic European Malt Whiskey. Aged for five years in ex-bourbon casks, on the palate this whiskey is a marriage of summer fruits and sweet vanilla. The finish has a light touch of spicy oak and a hint of cracked pepper.
PUNI SOLE (46%abv) $50- 1.5oz pour
Sole meaning “sun” in Italian, is referring to the ancient maturation method in sherry production called Solera aging. This whisky after sitting in American Ex-Bourbon barrels does extensive time in Spanish Pedro Ximenez sherry casks before final bottling. The taste is sweet with strong notes of honey and blood orange and finishes with creamy flavors of walnut and spicy oak.

Part of Puni’s limited edition “Wine Barrel Aging” series. Vina is the darkest of the whiskeys coming out of Italy, getting its hue from sitting for five years in Sicilian casks, that had previously held Marsala wine. Aromas of fruitcake dominate the nose, while notes of plums, orange peel, walnut and sweet sultanas cover your palate.
PUNI ALBA (43%abv) $57- 1.5oz pour
Alba, the Italian word for ‘Dawn’, is matured for three years in Sicilian Marsala wine casks before being finished in hand selected ex-peated whisky casks. The first impression is warm and engaging with fruity flavors, which slowly give way to notes of pepper, walnuts and herbs.
While prominent, the lingering note of peat does not overpower the whisky flavors but heightens their smokey back bone.

Only 3,900 bottles were produced of this limited edition.
Arte #1 is matured for seven years in Ex-Bourbon barrels and Ex-Scotch whisky casks coming from the Isle of Islay. Elegant and mellow notes of red apple and orange zest are enclosed by luscious flavors of smoke and sea salt. A perfect after dinner sipper.

Only 1,700 bottles were produced of this limited edition.
Arte #2 is one of the most unique whisky’s we have come across, using two different malt recipes in one bottle.
Part of this whisky was made using a three-malt recipe and matured first for three years in ex-Bourbon barrels before finishing for five years in Virgin Italian Oak. The second part of this whisky is a single malt made only from Italian barley malt and matured in Ex-Bourbon barrels for four years. The result gives notes of honey and vanilla on the palate with finishing flavors of ginger and toasted tobacco leaves.

BALADIN NAZIONALE Italian Lite Ale 6.5 % abv From the city of Piozzo, just outside Turin, this is the first 100% Italian made beer. The hops grown are from the north in Piedmont, the barley comes from Puglia in southern Italy, the water is sourced from the Italian Alps and spices of coriander and bergamot peel are all from Calabria. It’s light citrus and malt notes pair well with any pasta.
DEL DUCATO TORRENTE Italian Pale Ale 7.0 % abv Made in the Emilia-Romagna city of Parma, this ale will draw you in with notes of ripe citrus, peach and tropical pine. A dry finish makes this a great food beer that won’t overpower anything on your plate.
BALADIN SUPER Italian Strong Amber Ale 8.0 % abv The robust malts flavors in this Piedmont made beer are a perfect pairing for a pizza with flavorful cheeses or spicy sausage. Has finishing notes of almonds, toffee and a touch of orange.
